This small French hotel is a nice break away from the streets of Phnom Penh. The pool (though quite small) and villa style create a relaxing environment. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful! The hotel staff are always offering you seconds. The area is great, with Cafe Fresco on the corner (gourmet Western-style sandwiches for $4-5 US).
Don't request a Tuk Tuk or Taxi from the hotel. You will be charged a premium. If possible, it is best to walk down the street and waive down a Tuk Tuk. The drinks in the mini-bar aren't free (not that they should be, but there are no prices listed).

The hotel was really comfortable and spacious. It had a lovely pool too. The staff were helpful, it was also conveniently located. Breakfast was also fairly good. I would recommend staying here..

This place offers good value for money at a good location.
The hotel is not as quiet as suggested by the website (for two of the six rooms, the door opens directly into the lobby area). The breakfast is ok, but nothing special.

I was impressed by: - the lovely design of the property - the building's colour scheme inside and out, the layout of the pool & the sweet entrance way, the simple chairs and tables around the pool, the decor of my room - so bright & colourful - the staff were sweet, attentive, consistent ie I met the same staff rather than too many each day - the shower was great - HOT & great pressure - I really appreciated their choice of SOAP in the shower ie not cheap & nasty but rather good for my skin + morning coffee was EXCELLENT - finally location was ex!! in a quiet back street yet close to Palace et

The quiet location, off the beaten track. Set back off the road behind it's own walls. Nice staff- only three members of staff, with none speaking particularly good english. Would be great for French travellers. Cleanliness was good.
Communication was difficult, although staff were very pleasant. No dvd or tea/coffee making facilities though stated in hotel information. Not suitable for families, as toilet and shower room is within the bedroom, with only a hessian curtain to seperate from the living area. On our last day, we had arranged for the taxi to pick us up at 6.45, and asked for breakfast to be ready for 6.15. Breakfast arrived as we were leaving at 6.45. Excuse given that the member of staff was having her break. Apologies given, but it was a 7 hour journey with no food or drink since the previous evening. Not very good value for money compared to other hotels that we stayed in in Cambodia.

Loved staying in Villa Srey. The people working there are very helpful and sweet. The location is great: quiet but still close to restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay there again!
Maybe the shower and toilet in the bedroom were a bit odd. Very little privacy, but it was very clean and well looked after.

free breakfast was quite basic, but was tasty.
